Get ready, Boston movie enthusiasts. The first annual Southie Scavenger Hunt is happening next month, and the event’s inaugural theme is extremely fitting: Good Will Hunting.

Supported by the Greg Hill Foundation, the event will take place Saturday, October 11, when 10 teams of 30 will scour the streets of Southie for clues and mystery items. According to the event’s official Eventbrite page, the hunt will take you through bars, restaurants, landmarks, and film locations. Even better, you’ll be encouraged to enjoy food and cocktails along the way in the form of a pub crawl.

The L Street Tavern in Southie, a notable place from the film, will be one of the major stops.

“We’re working with, supporting, and participating [in the event],” says restaurant owner Susan Woods. Refreshments and specials will be inspired by the movie, of course. L Street will serve a cocktail called “Them Apples,” according to Woods, which will consist of Magners cider and Fireball whiskey.

The last stop in the scavenger hunt will end at 6 p.m. at Lawn on D, where prizes will be awarded to the winning teams.

Mayor Marty Walsh is also going to make an appearance when he gives a special plaque to L Street Tavern in memory of Robin Williams. Woods herself says she’d like to do something down the line that memorializes Robin Williams and his illness, possibly during awards season come January.

All funds raised by the Southie Scavenger Hunt will go to the Greg Hill Foundation, which responds to immediate needs of families that have been touched by tragedy.

The first annual Southie Scavenger Hunt will take place Saturday, October 11, 12-8 p.m. Tickets are on sale at eventbrite.com, priced $30 until October 3 and $40 afterward.
