Louis CK Is Coming to Somerville This Weekend

Surprise! Louis CK—Boston lad and potential king of comedy—is coming to Somerville this weekend. The comedian is returning to his local roots on November 22 and 23 with a four-show lineup at the Somerville Theatre.
According to Boston.com, Louis CK personally announced the secret shows via e-mail to people who had bought something from the comedian’s website in the past.
So why Somerville? Ian Judge, a booker at the Somerville Theatre, told Boston via e-mail that CK and his team just “rented [the theater] just like any other show.”
“We might be easier to book as we don’t have live shows every day like clubs,” he wrote.
CK originally planned for three shows at Somerville Theatre, but just added a fourth show after the others quickly sold out.
Louis CK will perform both Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets for Sunday’s 10 p.m. show are still available at louisck.net. Get ’em while they’re still hot!
