It looks like Ben Affleck’s creepy smile made an impression on Hollywood’s ominous crowd. The power team behind Gone Girl—Affleck, director David Fincher, and writer Gillian Flynn—is getting together for round two in the thriller genre, this time for a remake of the Hitchcock classic Strangers on a Train, according to Deadline.

The 1951 classic follows Farley Granger’s character of a pro tennis player longing for a divorce from his wife, who stumbles upon a wealthy socialite who proposes a plot to “exchange” murders. This remake, allegedly shortened to Strangers, will be something along the same notions. Affleck will play a movie star in the midst of awards season whose plane breaks down, before meeting a wealthy stranger who offers a ride back to Los Angeles.

With dark-and-twisted Fincher in the director’s chair, and the equally manic Flynn penning the script, we can guess that the murderous plots will assume the same course as the original, if not bloodier better.

While Affleck continues his role as Batman, he’s also shooting his adaption of Dennis Lehane’s Live by Night. Fincher, known for some of the best thrillers Hollywood has ever seen, like Netflix’s House of Cards and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, will also be busy with his latest HBO series titled Utopia. And whatayaknow, Gillian Flynn is penning that same series, too. They do make a great team.
