Here’s one last chance to see Tom Brady and company before the Patriots head to the Super Bowl.
Next Monday, the city will host a send-off rally for the Pats before they travel to Arizona and take on the Seattle Seahawks. Several notables from the Patriots camp will be in attendance, including chairman and CEO Robert Kraft, president Jonathan Kraft, head coach Bill Belichick, and players including captains Tom Brady, Dan Connolly, Vince Wilfork, Devin McCourty, and Matthew Slater.
“I am thrilled to host our conference champion New England Patriots at City Hall to rally before we send them off to another Super Bowl,” said Mayor Marty Walsh in a press release. “This is an exciting time for Boston, and I remind all fans to celebrate responsibly and make our city proud.”
Pats announcer John Rooke will host the event, which, in addition to remarks from some of the aforementioned VIPs, will also include performances by the New England Patriots cheerleaders, the Pats’ mascot Pat Patriot, and the Patriots End Zone Militia.
The rally will be one final bon voyage for the team and an opportunity for local fans who can’t be at the Super Bowl to send off their beloved Pats with proper fanfare. #DoYourJob as a fan and go bid your team good luck.
Free and open to the public, Monday, January 26, 11 a.m., City Hall Plaza.
