While this snowfall feels never-ending, Lawn on D’s “Winter on D” series will after the Southie recreation space hosts one last wintry event the weekend of February 20 through 22.

Following their “Fire and Ice Festival” and “SnowMANia” events earlier this year, Lawn on D and Massachusetts Convention Center Authority are set to host one more three-day winter event called “Slope Fest,” which will include a 70-foot slope that visitors can go tubing on.

The perks of tubing at the Lawn versus a local park are two-fold:

1. You don’t have the bring your own snow tube. The MCCA will provide them at the event, although rides from the two-story high slope will be ticketed at $3 for one run and $5 for two runs. (Cash only if paying on-site.)

2. As per usual, the Lawn will also have other fun programming during Slope Fest, including a Winter Sport Exhibition with SnowRiders, a team of skiers and snowboarders who will show off tricks. There will also be food trucks, Frost Ice Bar, Latin dance performances by MetaMovement, and more.
