Here’s John Krasinski Serenading You in a Sparkly Dress on Lip Sync Battle

Spike TV’s Lip Sync Battle, based on Jimmy Fallon’s super successful Tonight Show segment—which featured everyone from Emma Stone to Paul Rudd to Joseph Gordon Levitt—hosted Newton-bred actor John Krasinski on Thursday night’s episode with opponent Anna Kendrick, and it got extra steamy.

The premise of the series is still the same as Fallon’s: different celebrities will pair up in each episode and try to out-lip-sync each other in front of an audience as dramatically as possible. On Thursday’s episode, Krasinski took on Ike & Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary,” which he dominated wearing a foxy sparkly dress a la Taylor Swift circa 2008. Jennifer Lopez’s “Booty” was Kendrick’s follow-up, and rightfully earned her title as the winner of the Lip Sync Battle when J.Lo herself made an appearance. Playas gon’ play, sorry John.
