Amy Poehler and Tina Fey Premiere Sisters Trailer on the Tonight Show

They also played a game of "True Confessions" with Jimmy Fallon.

Comedy geniuses, ultimate partners-in-crime, and real-life best friends Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will fittingly play a pair of siblings in the upcoming comedy Sisters. It was directed by Jason Moore, who also directed Pitch Perfect, penned by Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock writer Paula Pell, and guest stars Poehler and Fey’s fellow SNL alums Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch, Kate McKinnon, and Bobby Moynihan.

In the movie, Poehler (“the perfect sister”) and Fey (“the other sister”) return to their childhood home, only to find out that it’s been put up for sale by their parents. While packing up their once-shared bedroom, the two decide to throw one last epic house party, complete with an Amy-and-Tina dance routine. The movie will be released on December 18.

On Tuesday night, Poehler and Fey premiered the Sisters trailer (see above) on the Tonight Show, where they reunited with fellow “Weekend Update” alum Jimmy Fallon, who is still nursing a finger injury. The trio played a few rounds of “True Confessions,” interrogating each other to see if various stories from their past are true or not.

Was Tina Fey once mistaken for a prostitute in Monaco? Were Jimmy Fallon and his friend robbed by a drug dealer with a sawed-off shotgun in college? Did Amy Poehler once help Yoko Ono cross a street on the Upper West Side? Watch below to find out.
