Radio 92.9 is hosting a trio of free after-work concerts at Copley Square this month. The first, coming up on Thursday, August 6, features upbeat Brooklyn duo Matt and Kim.

Headliners later this month include Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, a solo project by the former Jack’s Mannequin frontman, on August 13, and alt rockers X Ambassadors on August 20.

All three concerts will begin at 5 p.m., located on a stage set up in front of the Trinity Church. Each headliner will be accompanied by a local act. Ross Livermore Band will open for Matt and Kim, Arms and Ears will open for Andrew McMahon, and Nemes will open for X Ambassadors.

Looking for more free music in the area? On Saturday, August 8, the Boston Symphony Orchestra will live stream a special concert from Tanglewood on a 16-foot screen set up in Copley. Plus, the Boston Public Library is still hosting a variety of performers every Wednesday inside its McKim Courtyard.
