Back in March, Monopoly partnered with BuzzFeed and gave fans an opportunity to vote for 22 U.S. cities to be featured as property spaces in a special 80th anniversary edition of the beloved board game. Boston—as a world-class city—made it into the top ten.

Available now, the Monopoly Here & Now: U.S. Edition features Boston as a red property—the fourth-most-expensive type—alongside Detroit and Milwaukee. Our New England neighbor Portsmouth, New Hampshire, appears across the board, as a light blue property, in the second-least-expensive category.

The design features the Head of the Charles Regatta, a favorite local tradition, as the representative for our fair city. The Boston space is marked by a scene from the event of a boat crossing under the John W. Weeks Bridge, full of spectators.

Incidentally, the new game marks not only a special occasion for Monopoly, but also for the Head of the Charles, the world’s largest two-day rowing competition, which celebrates its 50th anniversary and 51st race in October.

“We are proud to represent our region on this iconic game,” says Fredrick Schoch, the regatta’s executive director, in a press release.
