Wait, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Are Selling Their Home for How Much?

If you want to buy the Los Angeles compound, it's going to cost a lot of money.

In the midst of a looming divorce, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have decided to sell their luxurious home in Los Angeles—and the pair is asking a pretty penny for it.

According to Variety, Affleck and Garner are putting the compound on the market for around $45 million, or about the same price it costs to rent an apartment in Boston for a few months.

While it’s definitely a hefty price tag, the L.A. compound sounds like a tricked out crib to live in. Variety says that the three-acre estate is filled with awesome amenities like a “piazza-sized canyon-view terrace, a soccer-pitch-sized lawn, a half-court basketball court, and a swimming pool with open-air cabana.”

The “ranch-style” home was apparently built in the 1930s by famed architect Cliff May and was previously owned by legendary actor Gregory Peck.

Affleck and Garner purchased the residency in 2009 and paid a cool $17.5 million for the property. If the pair can flip it for the $45 million asking price, then they deserve a show on HGTV like the Property Brothers.

As they continue to work out the details of their conscious uncoupling, it will be interesting to see where the Boston-bred actor calls home next.

Affleck still owns a pretty sweet, 50-acre riverside property out in Savannah, Georgia, which he bought in 2003 for $7 million.

If he ever gets tired of living in the southern mansion or out on the west coast, the star should consider coming back home to the Boston area.

We hear the Millennium Tower is a lovely spot to set up shop. Plus, Affleck is probably one of the few people who can actually afford the $37.5 million penthouse.

If all else fails, the Batman v Superman actor can always relocate to Wayne Manor in Gotham City, although it’s been looking pretty dingy lately.
