Here’s Where You Can See Every Star Wars Movie Back-to-Back in Boston
If the latest epic trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has you amped up to watch the entire film series again (yes, even the prequels), don’t worry, the Showcase Cinema de Lux Revere has you covered.
The theater will be hosting a mega-marathon on December 17 featuring screenings of all seven films—including the latest installment—back-to-back. In case you were wondering, that’s over 15 hours of pure Star Wars goodness. May the force be with you.
The festivities will kick off at 3:30 a.m. with a showing of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and will end with a 3D, advance screening of the highly anticipated seventh film at 7 p.m. Fans in attendance will also receive a collectible Star Wars lanyard.
People have been losing their collective minds since the final trailer for the new flick dropped on Monday.
According to Deadline, presale tickets were in such high demand that the frenzy actually crashed a number of websites, including Fandango and AMC Theaters.
The latest trailer has also racked up almost 30 million views on YouTube in less than two days.
If you can’t make it to the marathon, the new Star Wars installment will be showing at a number of theaters around town (although you should probably get your tickets now if you want to see it on opening weekend).
Star Wars: The Force Awakens officially flies into theaters on December 18.
The Showcase Cinema de Lux Revere’s marathon takes place on Thursday, December 17 starting at 3:30a.m. at 565 Squire Road, Revere. Tickets are $60 and are available at showcasecinemas.com/starwarsmarathon.
