Marina & the Diamonds are a cult sensation. In town for her Neon Nature club tour after two festival appearances at Boston Calling, the Welsh electro-pop star had fans lined up along Lansdowne Street by early afternoon yesterday in anticipation for her performance at the House of Blues — and Ms. Diamandis delivered in an explosion of color and sound.

Breaking up her set into three acts (Burger Queen, Lonely Hearts Club, and Neon Nature), Marina and her Diamonds bounced through her entire career, from early breakout hits like “I Am Not A Robot” and “Hollywood” to recent bubble-gum pop cuts off this year’s FROOT, like the title cut and “Savages.”

French pop upstart Christine & the Queens opened the show. Keeping up with the various looks along with her sounds, Matthew Shelter was on hand for Vanyaland for the photo gallery below.
