Ben Affleck Is All Tied Up in New Batman v Superman Sneak Peek

A new teaser for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice debuted after Fox’s Gotham on Monday night, featuring a tied up Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill’s menacing scowl.

The short sneak peek offers a glimpse at what’s sure to be a pivotal scene between the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel in the upcoming superhero flick. In particular, it offers a closer look at the man behind the cowl as a brooding Superman unmasks Affleck while he’s dangling from a ceiling between two prisoners.

The Boston-bred actor can also be seen wearing his new Knightmare Batman duds, which were previously shown in the trailer that was released at San Diego Comic-Con this summer.

Considering the post-apocalyptic outfit and setting, many fans are speculating that this scene is actually a dream sequence similar to the one featured in Zack Snyder’s 2013 film Man of Steel.

However, others believe that, at some point in the movie, Cavill’s character will go rogue for some reason thanks to being under the control of Jesse Eisenberg‘s Lex Luthor. Of course, this is all speculation for now, but perhaps more details will come to light when the new trailer for Batman v Superman debuts during Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday, December 2.
