Amy Poehler had a hectic day as she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles on Thursday.

While celebrating the achievement with her two kids in tow, the Burlington native nearly lost her wallet during the ceremony. Luckily, the Parks and Recreations star’s big day wasn’t spoiled thanks to a “handsome stranger” who found the lost item.

“I lost my wallet then someone found it, so life is great,” Poehler told E!. “I don’t want to go on record and say he’s a model, I don’t know. One could hope.”

If that wasn’t enough to stress Poehler out, the latest addition to the Hollywood Walk of Fame also had to come up with the perfect response to a congratulatory text she received from comedy legend Carol Burnett.

“I said to her, ‘This text means a lot to me, thank you Carol,’ and it was really cool,” Poehler said.

And to top it all off, Poehler of course had to give a big speech at the event which she completely knocked out of the park.

Accompanied by her Parks and Recreation co-star Rashida Jones and series co-creator Mike Schur, the actress gave a shoutout to her character Leslie Knope as she accepted the honor.

“I think Leslie Knope would love to have given me this star, and in many ways she has,” Poehler said.
