Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is pretty, pretty, pretty confident in his chances against Donald Trump should they face off in the 2016 presidential election.

While he’s not looking past his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, Sanders said that he can’t wait for a showdown with the leading Republican candidate during his interview on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night.

“I look forward to beating Donald Trump. I will enjoy that race very, very much,” Sanders said. “But first we’ve got to get past Secretary Clinton, and I think we’re going to do that as well.”

The Democratic presidential hopeful also used his time on the late night show to call out Trump for the racist rhetoric he’s been using throughout the campaign.

“A few months ago we were all supposed to hate Mexicans and they were all criminals and rapists. Now we’re supposed to hate Muslims,” Sanders said. “That kind of crap is not going to work in the United States of America.”

After a pretty serious discussion with the comedian, Sanders had a little fun with Fallon as they played the Whisper Challenge. The Vermont senator had to guess what the late night host was saying as he wore headphones with the volume turned up.

Sanders proved to be an expert at the game as it only took him one try to guess the clue, which happened to be, “Feel the Bern.”
