Daily Show host Trevor Noah is not a fan of Northeastern University’s controversial new gun policy.

The university recently announced that it would be equipping its campus police with semiautomatic rifles as a response to the growing number of mass shootings around the country. The plan has already received heavy opposition from Commissioner Bill Evans and the Boston Police Department, and now the Daily Show host has weighed in.

Noah did not hold back as he ripped Northeastern on Thursday night’s episode.

Now students can go to a place where they live for years, eating sh–ty meals, spending most of their time sharing a tiny room with a stranger, experimenting with same-sex relationships–all while a group of guards patrol with AR-15s. You guys have officially turned college into prison.

The host also took the time to go over a lengthy list of countries that currently have strict gun laws.

“Guns, can’t live with them, can’t live without them, unless of course you live in England or Australia,” Noah joked. “Or Italy or Japan… or Denmark or Luxembourg. Sorry, this is so embarrassing. I always forget Luxembourg.”
