Berklee Students Impress Taylor Swift with Medley of Her Songs

She called it 'stunning.'

A couple of Berklee College of Music students got a surprise social media shoutout from Taylor Swift on Wednesday afternoon.

The pop megastar tweeted out a link to a video featuring a pair of student musicians playing a cover medley of her hits “Wildest Dreams” and “Bad Blood” accompanied with a caption that simply said, “stunning.”

The video, which was posted on Berklee’s YouTube channel in the fall, features senior Tim Reynolds of Rome, Georgia on the violin and 2014 graduate Nigel Tay of Jaya, Malaysia on the guitar.

The arrangement and performance were also put together with the help of producer Juan Carreno, who graduated Berklee in December.

This isn’t the first time that Swift has shown some love to locals.

In October of 2014, the Grammy-winning musician tweeted out a video featuring Boston College students dancing to her hit “Shake It Off.”

“Yes, Boston College, yes,” Swift said in the tweet. “Thank you so [much] everyone who took part in making this, it just made me so happy!”
