The Dandy Warhols are finally coming back to town. And they’ll be armed with a new record, too.

A few weeks after the Oregon indie rock royals announced a surprise new single, “You Are Killing Me”, it was revealed today they’ll also be hitting the road for a tour this spring. And that features a handful of East Coast dates, including an April 15 gig at the Sinclair in Cambridge. Tickets go on sale February 5 via Bowery Boston and Ticketmaster.

The news of the Dandys’ first Massachusetts show in several years came right as details of their latest and 10th studio album, Distortland, were released. The new record will be out April 8 via Dine Alone Records, the Toronto-based indie label that was behind the band’s surprise new single, which dropped on January 8.
