Ever since producer Frank Marshall tweeted out an on set photo of a very buff Matt Damon, fans have been waiting patiently for the first trailer to the upcoming Jason Bourne sequel to debut.

While there hasn’t been much news about the highly anticipated flick, Eric Van Lustbaderthe author behind the Bourne books seriesmay have given away the date for when the trailer will drop in a recent Facebook post.

According to Screen Crush, Van Lustbader said that fans will get their first look at Bourne 5 during this year’s Super Bowl broadcast. The trailer will also reveal the upcoming sequel’s official title.

The first trailer for the new Bourne film will be shown during this year’s Superbowl telecast. At that time I believe you’ll find out the title of the film. (I know it, but I’m sworn to secrecy). So tune in on February 7th to check out all the excitement. I, for one, can’t wait!!!

Before you set your DVR, Van Lustbader has since deleted the Facebook post, meaning we might not get to see this trailer at all during the big game.

Don’t worry too much, though, as The Wrap‘s Jeff Sneider believes Universal Pictures, “has the opportunity to steal the Super Bowl with a Bourne ad,” so there’s still hope.

Either way, the upcoming fifth installment of the Bourne franchise will hit theaters on July 29.
