Meghan Trainor joined James Taylor and other music stars for a special Grammy edition of “Mean Tweets” on Monday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

As expected, the Twitterverse was not kind to the Massachusetts-born musicians, who were forced to read aloud some of the awful and funny things people post about them.

Trainor, who also won her first Grammy Award on Monday, got off pretty light compared to the other stars: “[Meghan] Trainor is like if the sassy girl you used to work with at Express just randomly had a singing career.”

A crass but creative user took a swipe at Taylor’s classic hit “Fire and Rain.”

“Hey James Taylor, we get it. You’ve seen fire and rain,” read the Boston-born folk legend. “Guess what? So have I and so have a lot of people. It isn’t that special. #douche.”

Other artists featured in the hilarious skit included Ricky Martin, Little Big Town, Common, Ed Sheeran, Kelly Clarkson, Charlie Wilson, Blake Shelton, Wiz Khalifa, Josh Groban, Demi Lovato, The Killers, Drake, One Direction, Lionel Richie, Rita Ora, and Mumford & Sons.
