Kiefer Sutherland Will Play Brighton Music Hall in May

We don’t spend too much time lamenting the changing names of local convenience stores, but we really wish the Tedeschi at the corner of Harvard and Brighton avenues in Allston was still called Store 24. Because imagine the photo possibilities when Kiefer Sutherland comes to town to play Brighton Music Hall across the street?
Instead we’ll have to do without the instant Jack Bauer memes, as the actor has announced a spring tour that finds his Americana-tinged rock band playing the Allston rock club on May 20. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday, March 4) at noon.
Sutherland, the star of celebrated television drama 24 and a long-line of Hollywood films, including Flatliners, Young Guns, and The Lost Boys, reportedly has a new album coming out this summer. But the 49-year-old—proud winner of an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and two Satellite Awards—has been spending his spare time on live music stages for the past several years.
Maybe he can add a Grammy to his mantle. Has anyone ever gone EGGSAGASAG? That has to be better than EGOT, right?
