Ben Affleck’s Live by Night Gets a Release Date

Ben Affleck has a lot more going on than just Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

When Affleck hasn’t been wearing the Dark Knight’s cape and cowl, the Cambridge-bred actor and filmmaker has been working on his latest Boston-based, directorial feature Live by Night. Affleck will be playing the main character as well in the film, which is centered around a thief looking to make his mark during the Prohibition-era.

According to Deadline, Warner Brothers officially announced on Tuesday that Live by Night will be heading to theaters on October 20, 2017.

Over the past few months, Affleck and company have been spotted filming in the North End and other parts of the Greater Boston area.

Based on Dennis Lehane’s popular 2012 novel, Live by Night will also star Sienna Miller and Zoe Saldana.
