The first intense teaser trailer for Mark Wahlberg’s upcoming drama Deepwater Horizon finally dropped on Wednesday.

Wahlberg is once again pairing with director Peter Berg for the project. The duo previously worked together on Lone Survivor and are currently in Boston working on the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing movie Patriots Day.

In the film, the Boston-bred actor plays hero Mike Williams, one of the technicians who worked on the Deepwater Horizon rig during the tragic explosion that caused the 2010 BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

The incident has been called one of the world’s largest man-made disasters in history and resulted in the death of 11 people. While a former rig engineer was recently found not guilty of negligence charges, BP—which plead guilty to several criminal charges—is still facing billions of dollars in fines stemming from criminal and civil penalties.

In addition to Wahlberg, Deepwater Horizon stars Kate Hudson, Gina Rodriguez, Dylan O’Brien, Kurt Russell, and John Malkovich.
