Bill Belichick’s Pal Kid Rock Will Play Fenway Park This Summer

The country rocker will co-headline with Jason Aldean.

Nobody asked for it, but Kid Rock is scheduled to perform at Fenway Park this summer.

The country rocker and friend of Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will co-headline a concert at the venue with singer Jason Aldean on Friday, September 9.

Kid Rock’s Super Bowl-winning pal probably won’t be in attendance as New England is scheduled to face the Cardinals in Arizona that weekend, but hopefully Belichick will be there in spirit. Perhaps their mutual buddy and Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump will show up instead.

The unlikely pair was recently spotted hanging out together at Tiger Woods’ restaurant in Florida.

Kid Rock is, thankfully, not the only person who is set to play Fenway this summer.

Dead & Company, featuring New England native John Mayer and a few remaining Grateful Dead members, will have a two-night run at the ballpark on Friday and Saturday, July 15-16.

James Taylor and Jackson Browne will perform at Fenway on Wednesday, August 3 while Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam are set to perform on Friday, August 5 and Sunday, August 7. The Piano Man himself, the legendary Billy Joel, will take over the venue once again on Thursday, August 18.

The Zac Brown Band are also scheduled to make a return to Fenway on Saturday and Sunday, August 20-21.
