Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola Star in Cops Parody

From Starsky and Hutch to Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, there have been a tone of great buddy cop comedy duos over the years. Now you can add Julien Edelman and Danny Amendola to that list.
A hilarious video featuring the Patriots stars was released on Edelman’s Youtube channel on Tuesday. Donning Boston Police Department uniforms, the pair can be seen chasing down “bad boys” in this parody of the long-running reality television show COPS.
“Officers” Edelman and Amendola try their best to clean up the streets, but as you can imagine, the partners end up getting into more hijinks than busting up any criminals, all while a generic ’80s pop tune plays in the background.
Their many mishaps and adventures include playing dice with a suspect they just chased after for a block, playing ping pong shirtless outside of a random person’s home, and, of course, eating hamburgers in full uniform while chilling in a hot tub. So you know, serious police business.
