Pokémon Go is taking over the world faster than Team Rocket blasting off at the speed of light, and players in Boston are going all in on the latest phone game craze.

In addition to capturing Rattata’s on the T and bothering BOS 311 with reports of Krabby sightings, local trainers are teaming up so they can be the very best, like no one ever was. Fans have set up a Reddit page dedicated to Pokémon Go news and events in Boston, which has quickly become a popular online destination for obsessed players.

One event that seems to have piqued people’s interests is an upcoming Poké-walk around Boston Common. The giant meet up is set to take place on Saturday, July 23, and already has more than 10,000 listed as interested in going on the event’s Facebook page.

According to a description for the Poké-walk, trainers will meet up at noon on the Common before dispersing into smaller groups to explore the city. Fans are encouraged to dress up and cosplay, so don’t forget your Pokéballs and Ash Ketchum hats.

Penguin Pizza will be hosting an event catered to Pokémon Go players that night as well. The eatery will be the site of a Pokémon-themed trivia night starting at 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 23.

As the game continues to gain steam, expect more events and meet up groups to pop up as the summer continues.
