Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel Went Back to Couples Therapy

They tried to work things out again on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel once again tried to bury the hatchet on Monday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

After attempting to work on their issues in couples therapy earlier this year, the Jason Bourne star and late-night host decided to return for another session as they had some unfinished business to talk out.

“Apparently you have to go to therapy more than once for it to work,” Kimmel said while introducing the skit.

The comedian was peeved over “multiple violations” by Damon, which included trying to sneak onto the show underneath Ben Affleck’s coat during the Oscars special. The actor revealed that he bribed Affleck to help him out.

“Now I’m going to have to come in here with Ben too because that’s betrayal,” Kimmel said. “I feel bat-trayed by Batman.”

On the other side, Damon is still pretty angry about having to wait backstage every night only to be passed over as a guest on the late-night show.

“There’s thousands and thousands of evenings that I’ve been just about to go on and then look what happen,” he said.

The “therapist” suggested that the pair try out art therapy to work on their problems, so they ended the skit by drawing sketches of each other. There seems to have been a breakthrough because, even though their drawings were definitely offensive, Damon couldn’t stop laughing at Kimmel’s sketch.
