Two stars from the Broadway juggernaut Hamilton will reunite in Dorchester this fall.

Daveed Diggs, who portrayed Thomas Jefferson and the Marquis de Lafayette in the Tony Award-winning rap musical, will join Leslie Odom Jr., who played Aaron Burr, for a headlining performance at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute’s annual gala.

Diggs and Odom will perform hits from Hamilton, as well as selections from the Odom’s new solo jazz album, Autumn Leaves, and Diggs’ latest music. It’s unclear whether the two will be appearing in period dress.

“The Senator was a tireless champion for the arts throughout his career,” the institute said in a release, “and hoped the Institute’s Senate Chamber would not only be a place where laws are debated and studied, but a place that encouraged students, educators, leaders, historians, and artists to gather to be inspired, and to inspire each other.”

Sponsorship levels for the October 17 gala at the EMK Institute, located next door to the JFK Library, range from $2,500 for an individual ticket, to $100,000 for six tickets to a VIP reception and a private tour of the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port.
