Entertainment Weekly released an exclusive clip from Casey Affleck’s latest Massachusetts-set movie Manchester by the Sea on Monday.

The new video features an intense exchange between Affleck’s character Lee and his ex-wife Randi, played by Michelle Williams. The upcoming drama follows Lee’s journey back to his hometown in order to take care of his nephew following the death of his brother, played by Kyle Chandler.

The latest look at Manchester by the Sea offers a glimpse at a particularly emotional scene in the film, according to EW, which won over a ton of critics during its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this year.

Check out the new clip, as well as a taste of Williams’s Bay State accent, below.

Although Manchester by the Sea won’t hit the big screen until later this fall, it’s already earned a ton of buzz thanks to early reviews and its powerful first trailer. Some believe Affleck may even earn his first Academy Award nomination for Best Actor, so expect this gut-wrenching film to make a huge splash this awards season.

Directed by Kenneth Lonergan and produced by Matt Damon, Manchester by the Sea will be released nationwide on November 18.
