Antonio Brown to Join Boston Footwear Company for Shark Tank Pitch

The Steelers star will help ISlide during the show's season eight premiere.

A Boston footwear company is bringing out the big guns for its pitch on the season eight premiere of Shark Tank.

Pittsburgh Steelers star Antonio Brown will try to help ISlide founder Justin Kittredge impress Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary, and the rest of the sharks with his premium sandals product. Kittredge, who left his job as the head of Reebok basketball to pursue his dream, hopes his “booming” business can make a splash on the show.

“Taking ISlide to Shark Tank has been amazing,” Kittredge said in a statement. “We’re ready to show the world that we’re doing more than just making sandals. We’re starting a movement of self expression.”

The 39-year-old designer has been gaining a ton of buzz lately for his customizable sandals. In addition to Brown, Kittredge has partnered with severals athletes and celebrities, including hip-hop mogul DJ Khaled and basketball star Dwyane Wade.

ISlide has also worked on a licensing deal with the NBA and has created custom kicks for the WWE, Def Jam Records, and ROC Nation. Madonna, Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, Ellen DeGeneres, and other big names have been known to rock the sandals from time to time as well.

Kittredge and Brown will present ISlide during the season eight premiere of ABC’s ‘Shark Tank’ on Friday, September 23, at 9 p.m.
