If traffic seemed worse than usual on Massachusetts Ave. this morning, blame Ben Stiller.

The Zoolander and Dodgeball star is in Boston this week filming his latest movie Brad’s Status, a new comedy by School of Rock and Nacho Libre scribe Mike White. Production briefly halted commuters on the Harvard Bridge Wednesday morning as Stiller filmed scenes for the project.

Earlier in the week, the actor was spotted filming in Harvard Square as well as Milton Academy, according to the Boston Globe.

Variety reports that Stiller, who recently opened up about his struggle with prostate cancer, is set to play a dad named Brad who takes his son on a tour of colleges on the east coast. No wonder why they were filming near Harvard and MIT.

The film will reportedly revolve around Stiller’s character and his obsession with his old schoolmates’ successes. Brad will be forced to come face to face with his pals while attempting to deal with his thoughts about being a failure.
