Boston and its collection of stars have popped up a lot in cartoons this year. Now David Price wants to get in on the fun.

The Red Sox pitcher is set to make his Cartoon Network debut this weekend on the Emmy Award-winning animated series Uncle Grandpa. A team of MLB all-stars will join Price for the World Series-themed episode, including Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Chris Archer, Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones, Houston Astros infielder José Altuve, and New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard.

According to a press release, the zany and magical Uncle Grandpa enlists the baseball pros to help inspire his struggling little league team.

Price is the latest Boston athlete to get the animation treatment after Patriots stars Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski received less than flattering animated parodies on the recent Boston episode of The Simpsons. Hopefully Uncle Grandpa will be a bit kinder to the Red Sox pitcher.

Other notable locals who’ve made cartoon cameos in 2016 include actor B.J. Novak and Sen. Elizabeth Warren. The former Office actor showed up on Arthur in the spring while the outspoken Massachusetts politician received a shout-out during a Donald Trump-themed online short for The Simpsons over the summer.

The baseball episode of Uncle Grandpa airs Saturday, October 22, at 12:15 p.m.
