Ben Affleck, Kevin Hart, and More Audition for Cancer Fighting Dream Team Movie

The stars appeared in a skit for the Stand Up to Cancer telethon.

Ben Affleck may be a member of the Justice League as Batman, but that didn’t stop him from auditioning for another dream team movie in a skit for the Stand Up to Cancer telethon.

The actor joined a star-studded cast for the hilarious sketch, including Jon Hamm, Eva Longoria, Zach Galifianakis, Matthew McConaughey, Ed Helms, Lena Dunham, and even Big Papi’s new pal Kevin Hart. The video, which aired during Friday’s televised fundraiser on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, features Helms attempting to assemble a team of A-listers as the director of a new film about heroic, cancer fighting doctors and researchers.

“It’s the ultimate fight against the ultimate villain—wait for it—cancer,” Helms says in the clip. “It’s an epic movie.”

It wouldn’t feel right unless Affleck’s audition included a nod to his role opposite Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting.

“If Matt Damon’s involved, can I be the genius and he play the supportive best friend this time?” Affleck asks Helms in the video. “I think that’s more realistic.”

“I’d rather not get in the middle of that,” the former Office actor replied, hoping to stay as far away from their troubled bromance as possible.
