For more than 50 years, the Head of the Charles Regatta has drawn spectators to the banks of the Charles River to see exciting competition and take part in a quintessentially New England event. The 2016 edition of the world’s largest two-day regatta started off rainy this past weekend, but the clouds retreated by Sunday, allowing for spectacular views of rowers battling strong winds up the Charles.
