Nothing beats a stroll down the entirety of Quincy Market. With every step comes a different smell (and a different vendor you forgot you loved). Inevitably, you bump shoulders with overwhelmed tourists, but they’re not so bad after you scarf down three to four samples of teriyaki chicken from Megumi.

Allowing yourself to be enveloped by the culinary corridor on a crisp, autumn day is an excellent feeling, which is probably why Quincy Market just ranked as one of the top fall activities in the United States. A new report from TripAdvisor named the top 25 U.S. attractions that have seen increased traveler interest this season—Quincy Market clocked in at number seven.

TripAdvisor compiled an “Attractions Trend Index” by looking at year-over-year search activity on the travel site. Quincy Market, which saw a 215 percent increase in traveler interest, is celebrated in the report as popular shopping, dinning, and meeting place for locals and tourists. The spot has been reviewed more than 1,500 times and ranks at four and a half stars.

As the seventh most popular trending autumn activity, Boston’s beloved marketplace was beat out by the likes of the Ground Zero Memorial in New York City and Hana Highway in Maui, Hawaii. Pretty good company, right?

Congrats Quincy Market, and keep those chicken teriyaki samples coming.
