Justin Bieber is coming back to Massachusetts next year, and hopefully he’ll bring his shoes with him this time.

The pop star stopped by Ellen DeGeneres’ show on Monday to announce his new tour, which will bring him to stadiums across the U.S. in 2017. The list of dates includes gigs in Denver, Minneapolis, as well as the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

As for the Biebs’ return to the Bay State, he’s scheduled to perform at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro on Tuesday, August 29. Tickets to the summertime show go on sale tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.

Bieber had a memorable and somewhat stressful trip to Boston earlier this year when his “Purpose” tour took over the TD Garden in May. Local Bielibers weren’t exactly on good terms with Bieber, who said he was “done taking pictures” and felt like a “zoo animal” after he was chased around town by fans hoping to snap a photo with him.

The star caused some controversy himself during his stay in Boston, as he was spotted feeding squirrels and walking barefoot around the Common, bizarre moments that didn’t go unnoticed by users on social media. Who knows what sort of antics he’ll be up to on his next Bay State visit.
