The Solo Traveler Package
Where: The Chanler at Cliff Walk, 117 Memorial Boulevard, Newport, R.I.
When: Through December 31, 2017
How much: Starting at $425 per night

When’s the last time you set aside some time for yourself? If you’re having trouble remembering, it’s probably past due to carve out a few days for a mini-getaway. Fortunately, the Chanler at Cliff Walk in Newport has just the thing to help you relax and recharge—the hotel’s recently introduced Solo Traveler package was created for folks looking to practice some quality self care.

What better place to kick back than in a Newport mansion? The Chanler was built in 1873 as a summer home for New York congressman John Winthrop Chanler. It’s the only hotel in Newport located along the town’s Cliff Walk, a 3.5-mile-long public walkway that follows the shoreline. A solo stay at the Chanler is priced at the best available room rate—which starts at $425 per night—and includes a $50 food and beverage credit.

The package also offers an aromatherapy bath service so you can wind down after a blessed day of solitude, as well as complimentary use of the hotel’s Tokyobikes or chauffeur car service for exploring or mansion-hopping.
