A few Thursdays from now, you’ll be dining in the company of family and friends—and possibly doing dozens of dishes afterward. If you’re not opposed to a change of scenery this year, Vermont’s Inn at Weathersfield is allowing guests to enjoy the best parts of Thanksgiving—family and food—without the hours of preparation or cleanup.
Stay from Wednesday, November 22 to Thursday, November 23 or Thursday, November 23 to Friday, November 24, at the 12-room inn, and you’ll receive 20 percent off regular room rates. For an additional $249, guests will receive a Thanksgiving dinner for two at the inn’s farm-to-table restaurant (see the menu here), a two-course dinner for two on another night during the stay, a full cook-to-order breakfast each morning, complimentary refreshments, and a trip to a local tree farm where visitors can take home their own live wreaths. The price of the package, which is valued at $400, includes gratuity on meals, too.
