Men of Bachelor Nation: If you’ve ever wished that you too could find love by horseback riding, bikini skiing, and taxidermy animal-stuffing your way through a crop of fetching suitors, I’ve got some good news for you. The Bachelor Live on Stage is coming to the Boch Center, and one lucky local man is going to get the chance to live out all the romance, spectacle, and certain humiliation of the beloved reality series right here in front of a live audience.

The stage show, a live touring version of ABC’s The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, is a new concept coming to 60+ cities next year, landing in Boston on March 27, 2020. It will, according to a release, “guarantee all the drama, the gossip and the romance of your favorite TV show in one delightful evening for the ultimate fan party.”

How can you condense all the nuance and complexity of a season of The Bachelor‘s two-hour episodes into one live experience, you may ask? While critical elements of the TV show—pool parties, helicopter dates, lavish meals that no one ever eats—will certainly have to be adapted for the theater, the format of the stage version will follow the original model as closely as it can. The show will introduce an eligible Boston bachelor to a group of contestants chosen from the audience, 50 percent of whom—if this is to be truly representative of the TV show—will probably be blondes named Lauren. Over the course of the evening, the chosen bachelor will follow all the steps that the TV leads do, going on group and one-on-one dates, sussing out which of these women signed up to date a man they’ve never met “for the right reasons,” and doling out roses all the while. It’s like watching a full season on fast forward, without all the commercial breaks to boot.

But one man can’t be expected to navigate this whirlwind romance on his own. That’s why the whole affair will hosted by Ben Higgins, the very tall and wholesome season 20 Bachelor who is definitely doing fine and has totally moved on after his very public breakup with his own Lauren (B.).  You may have seen him on The Bachelorette, The Bachelor, Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?, Bachelor Winter Games, or Celebrity Family Feud: Bachelors vs. Bachelorettes. Higgins released a statement in which he expressed his excitement at getting to host the franchise’s newest concept, packed with an amount of exclamation points that is totally normal.

“I am ecstatic to be able come to your cities with an amazing team of people from Warner Brothers to visit you and show you all a taste of what it is like to be on The Bachelor!” he said. “We are coming to your cities, meeting you in person, and hopefully spreading some love along the way! See you soon Bachelor Nation!”

Do you think the guy who broke down and left Bachelor Winter Games in tears will be able to guide you to true love? Do you feel like pursuing strangers romantically on stage in front of a live audience could be the way you find Your Person? Are you certain that at the Boch Center, you will feel—as Bachelor contestants always do—that your wife is in this room? Well, it is currently unclear how the Boston bachelor will be chosen, but there appears to be a place on the show’s website where hopeful contestants will be able to apply—so keep your eyes peeled.

If you want to make sure you snag a seat in the audience, though, look alive! Tickets (which start at $54) go on sale to the general public July 26 at 10 a.m., and will be available at the Boch Center Box Office.
