Pavlova at Matilda’s Pavlova Parlor
Australia’s answer to peach Melba, Pavlova is a meringue shell filled with fresh fruit and topped with whipped cream. According to legend it was created in honor of Anna Pavlova by a Melbourne chef who saw the renowned ballerina perform there in the twenties. The Pavlova Parlor has a good selection of fruits that can be blended into frappes or scooped onto cheesecake or Haagen-Dazs ice cream.
