Best of Boston
2005 Best Restaurant, General Excellence, Martha's Vineyard
Alchemy
Unlike at many other fine-dining destinations, there is nothing stuffy about the elegant, open-air space at Alchemy. The two-story restaurant’s white tablecloths, warm atmosphere, and welcoming staff beckon diners off the street. The menu and food are superb, with French-inspired choices such as grilled tuna niáoise, roasted free-range chicken Grenoble, and the must-have risotto fritters.
