2013 Best Theater
Huntington Theatre Company
Sure, the A.R.T. may have finished strong this year with the widely acclaimed Pippin, but the Huntington’s shining season earned it a Tony for best regional theater. Its offerings included an adaptation of the German noir film M; a haunting staging of the midlife-crisis comedy Rapture, Blister, Burn; and a pungently funny production of Good People, set, winningly, in Southie.
