Last year, this Santoni shoebox–size, Italian-inspired café went from pop-up to permanent fixture at upscale shopping mall the Street, in Chestnut Hill. James Beard Award–winning chef-owner Ron Suhanosky, cofounder of Manhattan’s Sfoglia, has more than earned that spot with his outstanding pastries, salads, and sandwiches, plus new near-nightly dinners held around his great-grandmother’s porcelain-topped kitchen table—including family-style "Sunday Sauce" feasts.
