Chef Brendan Joy has a few new babies—last fall he welcomed twins to his family and a second restaurant, Brookline’s Prairie Fire—yet somehow, the multitasking toque manages to keep Milton’s marvelous Steel & Rye humming. In fact, he’s employing new skills—such as sourdough-making, used for his exceptional wood-fired pizza—while maintaining high-quality staples like handmade pastas (lemon spaghetti with crab and basil-ramp pesto, anyone?). Bring on more bundles of Joy, please.
