Sneak a Peek at Boston’s Best

After months of research, Boston magazine is proud to present the Best of Boston 2008 issue. We scoured the city for the best of everything, from bikini waxers to plumbers. It was hard work, but someone had to do it.

Because we’re a bunch of teases, we aren’t posting the full list of winners to the site until August 26. But we are giving you a peek at some of our choices throughout the month, starting today.

The winner for Best Brasserie is. . .

Gaslight. We loved the atmosphere and the South End spot’s well-executed (and inexpensive) French standards.
