I am a born and raised Bay Stater and graduated from Tufts University with degrees in International Relations and Spanish -- which seamlessly led into a career in Dentistry. After a brief hiatus to Colorado where I worked as a ski patroller, I found my way to dental school, again at Tufts, and have not looked back.
I so appreciate that this profession gives me the opportunity to meet and engage with so many people, and it is most fulfilling to me when I can teach patients how to lead a healthier life (pro-tip, y’all need to floss), to get patients out of pain, or to change their lives through their smile.
In my practice I believe it is indispensable to invest time in our patients. At our first visit I will take the time to understand as much as I can about the current condition and long-term health of all the structures of your mouth, and I also hope to learn about you as well.
Dentistry is in a fascinating place right now and there are likely many changes coming to the industry in the years ahead. Digital dentistry is allowing remarkable work to be done with more accuracy and less time, market and government forces are changing the way our dental health will be treated and compensated for, and patient expectations and desire for beautiful smiles is ever-increasing. I am looking to be a positive part of the coming changes in my career and am committed to working to do the best for my patients -- whatever the future brings. To succeed will always involve taking the time to treat our patient’s whole selves, with care and respect, and ideally a few laughs along the way.
