What is your typical process for working with a new patient?

There are two main ways new patients are seen. Typically, a new patient is registered and scheduled through our front desk and any necessary forms and consents are completed electronically prior to presenting for initial appointment. A new patient is first seen by our Prosthodontist & Restorative Specialist, Dr. Quinn Chan for a comprehensive evaluation, which may or may not include diagnostic imaging, intra-oral photos, and physical or a digital impression. If the patient requires any gum disease treatments, dental implants, or any other oral plastic surgical therapy, the patient is then referred to Dr. BiNa Oh for a comprehensive periodontal or limited surgical evaluation, depending on the patient’s need. Secondly, if a new patient is referred by another doctor or a specialist, the patient is directly referred to either our Prosthodontist or Periodontist for relevant prescription consultation and evaluated for the patient’s specific needs.

What advice would you give a patient looking to find a provider in your specialty?

Patients who are looking for providers in our specializations are often times in tricky and unfortunate circumstances and need to find knowledgeable and skilled specialists to treat them. Our most important piece of advice is that these patients need to find someone that they trust.

What treatments are you most excited to offer?

We derive a great deal of satisfaction in treating patients that require a multi-specialty approach to their needs. Complex situations with elaborate treatment plans that require a team of specialized providers that know how to synergistically collaborate are what we're really good at, especially those unfortunate circumstances that require biological regeneration of jaw bone structures combined with artificial replacement of teeth.

What makes your practice stand apart?

Our motto is "Specialized Dentistry. Specialized for You." - every patient is different, as well as the circumstances they present with, and we individualize our approach and solutions to each patient. Our practice offers close synergistic collaboration of in-house restorative and surgical specialists to optimize enhance patient experience and optimize communication. We utilize state-of-the art equipment including Cone-Beam CAT Scans, Intraoral Scanners, and 3-D printers in order to promote patient comfort, treatment quality, and accuracy, and we are always evaluating new technologies to implement. Lastly, our office was specially designed to mimic the luxury and comfort of a high-end boutique hotel for those that seek a premium experience.
