The Easton Pediatric Dentistry team prides itself in following all of their patients through dental and personal maturation. All patients are seen by the same dentist at every appointment and are not ping-ponged back and forth between pediatric dentists. Trust is an important issue with children and parents. Therefore, every patient will have the opportunity to build that trust and parents will have an opportunity to ask questions or share any dental concerns regarding their child with Dr. Charlene Pirner at every appointment.

Before even seeing the patient, I would find out what brings them to my office. Is it anxiety or behavioral related? Having that information, helps me know how to present myself to the patient and how to discuss the day's appointment and future appointments with the patient. Each patient is treated as an individual with individual needs.
I would find out what kind of office a patient/parent is looking for? Are they looking for convenience and would like to just receive the basic treatment in a quick manner? Or would they like an office that would cater more to their child's needs and give them the proper time and attention at each appointment.
Graduated high school thinking I wanted to be a pediatrician or obstetrician. During college, I got a job as a dental assistant and discovered it suited me better than the medical field. From their, I combined dentistry and my love for children and found my perfect profession as a pediatric dentist.
SDF-Silver Diamine Fluoride. I am a big proponent of preventive, non-invasive dentistry. SDF affords dentists the ability to provide minimally invasive procedures to young or immunocompromised patients who may not be able to tolerate the traditional restorative procedure.
I have patients who are fully matured adults with their own careers and dental insurance who have "chosen" to continue receiving dental care from me. There are also adult patients who feel they are ready to "graduate" from my practice, who then decide to return to me after meeting a different dentist. I also have patients who are now bringing their children to me. Those are all testaments of the trust and comfort they have formed with me.
Dentist visits are finally stress-free
I took two of my kids for follow-up appointments today and it was noteworthy that they were not stressballs leading up to the visit. After only a few appointments with your staff, dental visits are no longer a thing to fear! I also appreciate the one-on-one debriefs with Dr. Pirner afterward so that I feel informed about what's in store, what happened at today's visit, and what to expect at the next one. Thank you! Lynsey
Always professional and friendly.
Dr. Pirner is like a family member to us! She's been my son's dentist for many years. Today my son had his tooth extracted and I was so please that he came out smiling :o) Thank you Dr. Pirner see you soon!
Dr Pirner is an awesome dentist!
My kids walk into the dentist office all on their own. That's how Dr Pirner has always managed her office and it's wonderful! I remember being afraid of the dentist when I was a kid. My kids willingly go without any problems. I highly recommend Dr Pirner.
