This is my business. I'd like to submit an update.

We provide comprehensive and complete care including most specialized dental services right here in our state of the art digital dental facility. Our clinical team includes four general dentists and we have a periodontist and an endodontist in house for the convenience of our patients. Crowns/bridges, Fillings, Cosmetics, Removable complete and partial dentures, Implant restorations, Root canals, Night guards, Extractions, Whitening

What's your background, education and training?

Graduated Colby College in 2006 with a BA in Biochemistry and a minor in Music, Graduated University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2010, completed a one year hospital-based General Practice Residency at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT.

What is your typical process for working with a new patient?

We spend over an hour getting to know our patients at their first visit to our office. We complete a thorough medical history and dental exam, including comprehensive x-rays and photographs. The first visit is really more about getting to know our new patient and gathering all the data we will need to formulate some recommendations. We typically do not present any treatment at this visit unless the patient has a pressing concern. Once the patient leaves, we sit down as a group and review all the information gathered at that first visit. Our new patient is invited back for a consultation, at which point we discuss any findings, and work together to come up with a treatment plan to restore them to optimal oral health.

What advice would you give a patient looking to find a provider in your specialty?

Finding a general dentist that you expect to see at least twice a year is not the same as finding a specialist to treat a one-time issue. Of course, quality of work is important, and you can get a good idea of that by speaking with friends and family and reading online testimonials/reviews. More difficult to ascertain is how well you will fit into that office's environment. Calling and asking for a quick sit-down with the dentist or another member of the team is a great way to see if you are a good fit for that practice.

What inspired your passion for your profession?

I’ve always been a student of both the arts and the sciences and found these two disciplines perfectly married in the field of dentistry. I am an Andover native and I returned to the area to practice after earning a BA in Biochemistry from Colby College and a DMD from the University of Connecticut.

As a general dentist at Tewksbury Dental Associates I am able to deliver the highest quality, state of the art, digital dentistry for patients, while surrounded by like-minded dentists and coworkers. We pride ourselves in our passion for dentistry and our compassion for every person we have the privilege of working with. What does that mean to us? It means that the beauty and functionality of our work are just as important to us as the trust and relationships we build with our patients. When we find something that needs to be addressed, we will take our time to be sure you understand the issue and recommended treatment so you are equipped to make the best decision for your own dental and overall health. It also means we will work with you to find an affordable way for you to complete your treatment.

What makes your practice stand apart?

We know that going to the dentist is not most people’s favorite way to spend their time. It is the TDA way to make sure your experience is comfortable, enjoyable and even fun and I am confident that we are achieving that goal every single day.

How many years have you been in business?

42 years
