Oh Yes, It’s Ladies’ Night…

1222440241Girl’s night out has always been de rigueur. But when you’re trying to rally your BFF’s, who can agree on the time, the place, or the level of debauchery? Lucky for us, October is packed with already-organized Girl’s Night Out options, that include all of the above (and lots of complimentary cocktails).

After last Wednesday night’s Best of Boston Style party, we’ve become huge fans of the concept of sipping while shopping and getting beautified all in one place, all at one time—and with our favorite people.

Last week, we glammed it up for the Best of Boston Style party to fete with the best stylists, colorists, and boutiques in town. Best of Boston Award-winning salons Mario Russo, Shag, and Emerge brandished blow dryers and curling irons to shape our lagging nine-to-six manes into silky blowouts and sexy upsweeps (oh, it’s back, all right).

Our favorite boutiques, Stil, Grettaluxe, and Bloomingdales brought in dresses, skirts, bags, and more to sell to shoppers as we sipped Cosmopolitician martinis. The highlight was a fashion show featuring the very same looks that were for sale (and on sale), on most of the displays.

DePrisco Jewelers even let us try on diamond engagement rings—you know, in case we might ever want an upgrade. While the style party of the year has already passed, there are still two more options next month for ladies night.

StyleFixx is throwing another G.N.O. Wednesday and Thursday nights at the Boston Center for the Arts. They’ll have 55 designers and brands touting special discounts on clothing, bags, accessories, you name it.

We’re talking free makeovers, complimentary hair treatments from G2O salon, mini-manicures from Wet Paint Nail Spa Beauty Lounge, and free massages, all while sipping on cocktails from Ketel One. RueLaLa will also be on hand selling designer duds for a steal.

And later this month, on October 21-23, Shecky’s Girl’s Night Out returns to the BCA Cyclorama with exclusive sales on collections from 50 emerging designers.
